9 Weeks of Sewing Classes for One Child Grade 4+

In this sewing class, students will learn basic hand sewing techniques and become familiar with a sewing machine. They will become familiar with different fabrics to incorporate to multiple sewing projects.

Students will learn:

• Basic fundamentals of the sewing machine
• Straight stitch
• Zigzag stitch
• Basic embroidery stitches
• Hand sewing: running stitch, backstitch and slip stitch
• How to sew a button
• Pattern placement
• How to safely use the iron, pins and scissors
• Use creativity to personalize projects

Class Dates: June 14, 2021 ~ August 21, 2021 (*No classes: June 25)

Class Session: 9 Weeks

Class Schedules: Friday 4:30 pm - 6:20 pm
